Emperor Go-IchijÅ
Go Ichijō (Japanese后 一条 天皇Go Ichijō - tennō; * October 12, 1008, † May 15, 1036 ) was the 68th Tenno of Japan ( 1016-1036 ).
His proper name was Atsuhira (敦 成 亲王).
He was the second son of Ichijō - tennō and the elder son of two sons of Empress Fujiwara no Shoshi, whose father was Fujiwara no Michinaga.
The Go- Ichijōs wife was also a daughter Michinagas.
During his reign Michinaga had the power at court.
