Emperor Go-Komatsu

Emperor Go - Komatsu (Japanese后 小松 天皇, Go- Komatsu tennō; * August 1, 1377; † December 1, 1433 ) was the 100th Tenno of Japan (21 October 1392-5 October 1412. ). For the period from 24 May 1382 to the abdication of Emperor Go - Kameyamas on October 21, 1392, he is often regarded as a rival emperor. His proper name was Motohito (干 仁). He was also the last emperor of the so-called northern courtyard. In his time ended the parallelism of the two competing imperial courts.

His successor was his son, Emperor Shoko.

The famous Zen Buddhist monk Ikkyu Sojun was probably his other son.
