Emperor Kōkaku

Kaiser Kōkaku (Japanese光 格 天皇, Kōkaku - tennō; born September 23, 1771 and † December 11, 1840 ) was the 119th Tenno of Japan. His father was Prince Sukehito the imperial house Kan'in no miya (闲 院 宫 典 仁 亲王, Kan'in no miya Sukehito shinnō ), who was descended from the Emperor Higashiyama. He wanted synonymous give his father the title Daijō - tennō (太 政 天皇), with ex-Emperor. The Shogun had no pleasure in his idea, and it came to a dispute between the Court and the Shogunate.
