Emperor Nakamikado

Nakamikado (Japanese中 御 门 天皇, Nakamikado - tennō; * January 14, 1702, † May 10, 1737 ) was the 114th Tenno of Japan. His proper name was Yasuhito (庆 仁), as a child he was called Masu. He was the son of Higashiyama tennō and Kushige Yoshiko (栉 笥 贺子). The consent of the shogunate to his elevation to the crown prince reached the former regent Konoe Motohiro 1706 by his son Tokugawa Ienobu. Nakamikado reigned from 1709 to 1735.

He was married to Konoe Hisako (近卫 尚 子), they had six sons and eight daughters. His grave is located in Tsukinowa no misasagi (月 轮 陵).
