Emperor Sakuramachi
Sakuramachi (Japanese桜 町 天皇, Sakuramachi - tennō; born February 8, 1720 † May 28, 1750 ) was the 115th Tenno of Japan. His own name was Teruhito (照 仁). Sakuramachi was the son of Emperor Konoe Nakamikado and Hisako (近卫 尚 子). He reigned from 1735 to 1747.
Sakumarachi was with Empress Nijo Ieko (二条 舎 子) and Anekōji Sadako (姊 小路 定子) married. He had a son and two daughters, two of his three children to the throne: his successor Emperor Momozono and his daughter Empress Go- Sakuramachi. His grave is located in Tsukinowa no misasagi (月 轮 陵).
