Empresa Nacional del Petróleo

Empresa Nacional del Petróleo ( ENAP ) is a Chilean oil company based in Las Condes and is the U.S. dollar turnover of one of the largest companies in Latin America ( 2007) with 9019.3 million.

ENAP is a state-owned company, which was established by Act No. 9618 of 19 June 1950 and the Chilean Ministerio de Mineria de Chile ( Ministry of Mines ) is a subordinate. ENAP operates within Chile three refineries, Aconcagua ( in the Región de Valparaíso ), Bío Bío ( in Hualpén ) and Gregorio produced ( in the Región de Magallanes y de la Antártica Chilena ) with those daily 230,000 barrels of oil and 85 % of the national petroleum needs covered can be. ENAP also operates in Argentina, Ecuador, Colombia, Egypt and Iran.
