Emy Coligado

Emy Coligado ( born June 5, 1971 in Geneva, Ohio ) is a Filipino- American actress who was in the middle known by the role of Piama Tananahaakna in the sitcom Malcolm.

Life

Coligado grew up in Borger (Texas ). At Texas Christian University, she later studied psychology. After she completed her studies in 1993, she went to New York City, to pursue acting and music. Coligado landed a role in a regional production of the musical Miss Saigon in Galveston (Texas ). Also in the mid-1990 listed in Stuttgart German version of the musical, the actress played a role.

In 2000 Coligado moved to Los Angeles. Several minor roles in television series followed. For the Crossing Jordan series, she played the role of the Emmy in 2001. 2002 Coligado got the role of Piama Tananahaakna, wife of Malcolm's brother Francis in the ongoing series on FOX Malcolm in the Middle.
