The Move ( International Title: En Route ) is a German feature film by Jan Kruger, which was filmed in 2003.

Action

Benni, Sandra and their daughter Jule spend the summer holidays on a campsite. There she meets the drifter Marco. He persuades Benni and Sandra for a trip to the Polish Baltic Sea. The carefree days at sea is stopped short by a night ride on a motorcycle by Sandra and Marco. Sandra has exceeded the unspoken boundaries. The party occasion birthday Jules is escalating. From the shambles out Marco Jule leads in the morning forest. Finally Jule is found of Sandra and Benni. The end of an intense summer.

Awards

• Move Festival Rotterdam ( IFFR ) has won the Tiger Award at the 2004 International Film Festival.
• On the Berlin & Beyond Film Festival in San Francisco, the film with the "Best First Feature " prize was awarded.
• Move was also shown at the Berlinale.
