Enafors

Enafors is a settlement in the Swedish province of Jämtland County and the historic county of Jämtland. The place belongs to the municipality of Åre.

Traffic

Enafors, located on the street 14 and at the railway Östersund- Trondheim and has a railway station. Mainly in the winter season there are several night trains to Stockholm and Gothenburg.

Enaforsholm Fjällgård

South of Enafors is the Enaforsholm Fjällgård. The main building was built in 1878 as a farm. The wholesaler A.W. Bergsten bought the farm in 1908. In 1937, Kungliga Skog och Lantbruksakademien took over the farm and made it a popular place for mountain -loving tourists both in summer and in winter. The Fjällgård is open all year and offers the only place to stay in Enafors to.
