Enarephoros

Enarophoros or Enarsphoros ( ancient Greek Ἐναροφόρος, Ἐναρσφόρος ) is a person of Greek mythology.

He is the son of Hippocoon from Amyklai. Together with his father and his brothers Dorykleus, Skaios, Bukolos, euteiches, Lykaithos, Tebros, Hippothous, Eurytos, Hippokorystes, Alcinous and Alkon he sells the rulers of Sparta, Tyndareus Ikarios and out of the city. Hippocoon and all his sons are slain by Heracles, after Tyndareus takes control back in again. Plutarch tells of a variant of the myth of the rape of Helen, daughter of Tyndareus. According to this alternative does not commit the robbery Theseus, but Enarophoros wants the child Helena rob why her father is about security in the custody of Theseus.

According to Pausanias, were in Sparta Heroa the Hippokoonsöhne Alkimos and Enaraiphoros, which is to identify with Enarophoros. Not far away were Heroa of Dorkeus and Sebros that are supposedly identify with Dorykleus and Tebros.
