Enarete

Enarete (Greek Ἐναρέτη ) was in Greek mythology the daughter of Deimachos and wife of Aeolus, the ancestor of Aiolier. The couple had seven sons and five daughters.

The sons of the couple were Cretheus, Sisyphus, Athamas, Salmoneus, Deion, Magnes and Perieres. From the authors of Hyginus and Pausanias also Makareus is called as the eighth son. Pausanias calls plus Aethlios and Diodorus Mimas.

The daughters of the couple were Canace, Alcyone, Peisidike, Calyce and Perimede. According to Pausanias, were also Tanagra and Arne daughters of Aeolus and Enarete.
