Diagnostics

To diagnose the three-dimensional representation of the bony defect belongs with the help of computed tomography ( CT) and magnetic resonance imaging Zeleninhalts.

Therapy

The treatment consists in the closure of the meninges, with a small encephalocele by erosion at the base and closing by Faszienplastik, with large Zelen shift back including plastic skull defect coverage. The repositioning of itself vorwölbendem by large gaps functional nerve tissue is rarely successful, usually the malformed tissue is ablated.
