Enchant (band)

Enchant is a progressive rock band from the United States. Stylistically Enchant is compared with Saga or Marillion, her style is particularly melody -based. Characteristic in their music are also the virtuoso bass playing of Ed Platt and Ted Leonard's song, which is partly to Steve Walsh of Kansas. Their lyrics deal critically with society apart and process the personal experiences of the band members (eg Sinking sand).

The band was founded in 1989, but their debut album A Blueprint Of The World did not appear until four years later. The work was well received by the press and is now considered one of their most popular. In the following years further plates were published, most recently a first live album released in 2004 for the tenth anniversary as a CD and DVD.

Enchant working on their ninth studio album.
