End user

The term end user ( also end, private or home users) referred to in the IT sector and in consumer electronics, the person, used by third parties, such as distributors, provided for the use of computer science products, such as software.

Contrary to the contractually prescribed in handling company where administrators install and set up software for the user, the end user is also the end customer, the product acquires privately commercially. The contractual details on installing and using the software are governed mostly in an End User License Agreement (English end user license agreement EULA).

Suitable for this purpose software products enable end users depending on experience also to create their own software (End User Development ), often using graphical programming languages ​​and tools.
