Endine Gaiano

Endine Gaiano is a municipality in the Province of Bergamo in the Italian region Lombardy with 3506 inhabitants ( 31 December 2012).

Geography

Endine Gaiano located 35 km northeast of the provincial capital on the shores of Lago di Bergamo Endine, and 70 km northeast of the city of Milan.

The neighboring municipalities are Fonteno, Gandino, Monasterolo del Castello, Ranzanico, Solto Collina and Sovere.

Attractions

  • The parish church of San Giorgio, which was first mentioned in official documents in 1260. A century later, extensive renovations have been made for the first time.
  • The San Remigio church from the 15th century. This was noted especially during the great plague in 1630.
