Enfidha

Enfidha (Arabic النفيضة, DMG to - Nfīḍa or Dar -el- Bey, دار البي ) is a city in northeastern Tunisia with a population of about 10,000 inhabitants.

Location

The town lies on the railway line between Tunis and Sousse, about 45 km north-west of Sousse and a few kilometers inland from the Gulf of Hammamet.

Furthermore, it is located about eight kilometers south of Henshir Fraga, the old Uppenna, where the ruins of a large fortress and a church can be visited.

Economy

The nearby Aéroport International d' Enfidha, the fourth largest airport in the country, was completed in 2009 and was planned among other things by the German architect Stephan Martini.
