Engelberger Rotstock

The Engelberg Rotstock is a 2818 meter high peak near Engelberg in Switzerland. It lies on the border between the cantons of Obwalden and Uri. The pyramid- like elevation between the two incisions Engelberg gap and Red Grätli can be climbed as trackless alpine hike. In winter ascents on skis is possible. To the west of Engelberg Rotstock is the Schöntalerfirn, east of Schlossfirn.
