Engelschalk I.

Engelschalk I ( † 871 in Great Moravia ) was margrave ( comes terminalis ) of the Ostmark, or Count in Upper Pannonia. He fell in the year 871, together with his brother William II in the battles against Great Moravia. Her successor as Count limit has been Aribo I. The brothers founded, among others, Duke Castle and William Castle.
