Enhanced Audio Codec

The Enhanced audio codec is a proprietary lossy audio codec of the company Coding Technologies.

The version 2.0 is based on the technique of Spectral Band Replication (SBR) and supports mono, stereo and 5.1 surround sound. It represents the audio codec, which comes on the Chinese counter-proposal for DVD - Video, Enhanced Versatile Disc for use.
