Ennio De Concini

Ennio De Concini ( born December 9, 1923 in Rome, † November 17, 2008 ) was an Italian screenwriter.

Life

De Concini was already in his early years assistant to Vittorio De Sica and began in 1947 his fruitful career as a screenwriter. His many works spanning the whole spectrum of Italian film industry; among his nearly 170 films on which he worked, there are many classics. For divorce in Italian, which was created in 1961, directed by Pietro Germi, Concini was awarded in 1963 for Best Original Screenplay Oscar. One of its merits is the equal treatment of serious materials as well as commercial Genre goods; so he was at two basic levels of Adventure ( The Amazing Adventures of Hercules ) as the horror film ( The hour when Dracula comes ) involved.
