Enric Masip

Enric Masip Borràs ( born September 1, 1969 in Barcelona ) is a Spanish handball functionary and former handball player who has been mostly used on the position back center of the room.

Career

From 1987 to 1990 Masip played at BM Granollers before moving to the adjacent FC Barcelona. The team he remained until his retirement in late 2004 a total of 14 years faithful. For the Spanish national team, he played 205 matches and scored 656 goals. He had to end his career due to serious back problems. From 2006 to 2013 he was sports director of the Catalans.

His jersey hangs together with the other six players of FC Barcelona at the Palau Blaugrana in the Hall of Fame.

Enric Masip won in the 1990s with FC Barcelona, almost all major European title.
