Career

Enrico Schirinzi is an Italian citizen, but has always played for Swiss football clubs. His first footballing experiences he gained in his youth at the BSC Young Boys, most recently in 2005 in the U21. Since he offered no opportunity to ascend to the first team of Berner, he moved to FC Wohlen in the Challenge League. For the Aargau, he played 78 games and scored eight goals, which he drew attention to himself. In 2008 he moved to FC Luzern in the Axpo Super League. He came mainly in the first team to part inserts and also played in three games for the U21 of central Switzerland ( for the juniors, he scored three goals). After half a season Schirinzi went to FC Lugano, where in eleven games, he scored a goal, but he could not prevail here too. For the 2009/10 season he returned to FC Wohlen, where he scored five goals as a regular player in 29 games. Since his contract was not renewed, Schirinzi was out of contract in the sequence.

In November 2010, Murat Yakin won the Italians due to some injury- related absences for team FC Thun. The left-footed applies namely as a very versatile footballer, who began his career as a midfielder though ( outside, left and right) began, but it can also be used as fullbacks. In this position, he was occupied with FC Thun and was doing so far quite successful. Together with Timm Klose, Stipe Matic and other forms Schirinzi the defensive wall of the Bernese Oberland, the back line is the second strongest defense in the league. On 31 March 2011 it was announced that the Defensive Specialist has suffered an ankle injury and has been operated on. He is the club no longer be available for several weeks.

Schirinzis contract with FC Thun runs until June 30, 2012. Guests have the option to extend the contract by one year.
