Enrique Peñalosa

Enrique Peñalosa ( born September 30, 1954 in Washington, DC, USA ) is a Colombian economist, politician and former mayor of Bogotá.

It received its name from its eponymous father, who was also a politician. For primary school went to the Peñalosa Gimnasio Campestre and attended high school Colegio Refous, both in Bogotá. He then moved to Durham, North Carolina in the United States, where he studied economics at Duke University. His doctoral thesis, he worked in Paris, where he received an MBA.
