Ens, Hautes-Pyrénées

Ens is a commune with 27 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2011 ) in the department of Hautes -Pyrénées in the Midi-Pyrénées region. It belongs administratively to the district Bagneres- de -Bigorre and the canton of Vielle -Aure.

Geography

The municipality is located in the historical county of Bigorre and in the Pays d' Aure.

The municipal seat is located in more than 1000 m on the left edge of the Aure valley through which the river Neste d' Aure runs. The place is located about 45 km southeast of Lourdes. The municipality has an extremely low population density, among other things due to the altitude.
