Enskede-Årsta-Vantör

Enskede - Årsta Vantör is a municipality of Stockholm. It was created on 1 January 2007 by merging the boroughs Enskede - Årsta and Vantör.

The municipality is separated by the Årstaviken, which is a bay of Lake Mälaren, by the Stockholm city center. In the borough live about 81,000 people. Here lies the cemetery Skogskyrkogården, which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Gamla Enskede

The terrain of this hamlet was bought in 1904 by the City of Stockholm and built since 1908. According to the plans of Per Olof Mans Hall was built here Stockholms first garden city.
