Ensoniq

Ensoniq was a US-based company with headquarters in Malvern, Pennsylvania, which was for many years a leader in the field of hardware samplers and synthesizers. It was founded in 1982 by Robert "Bob" Yannes ( developer of the MOS Technology SID chip of the Commodore 64 home computer was used ) founded and other former employees of the company MOS Technology.

Ensoniq 1997 by Creative Technology for 77 million U.S. dollars was bought.
