Enterbrain

Enterbrain (Japaneseエンターブレイン, Entāburein ) is an imprint of the Japanese publisher Kadokawa.

Enterbrain has its origin in the company was founded on January 30, 1987 ASCII Eiga KK (アスキー 映画 株式会社, Asuki Eiga Kabushiki - gaisha ), founded as a film subsidiary of ASCII. In 1997 it was renamed the K. K. ASCII Visual Entertainment (株式会社 アスキー ビジュアル エンタテインメント, Kabushiki - gaisha Asuki Bijuaru Entateinmento ) and following a realignment on 1 April 2000 in KK Enterbrain (株式会社 エンターブレイン, Kabushiki - gaisha Entāburein ), and was transferred to ASCII Media Leaves daughter who was in 2004 a subsidiary of Kadokawa Group Holdings.

Enterbrain has specialized in the publication of various video game magazines and strategy guides and other print products in the video game field and the development of interactive entertainment software and also offers other services in this sector, among them industry information and licensing services.

2010 merged Enterbrain with the parent company, Media Leaves. 2013, Kadokawa Group Holdings was renamed Kadokawa and dissolved on October 1, 2013, the eight publishers of the group, including Enterbrain as independent companies and as markers ( imprints ) of Kadokawa continued.
