Enterprise is a city in the southeast of Coffee County and is a small portion in the southwest of Dale County, both in the U.S. state of Alabama, United States. 2004 Enterprise had 22,200 inhabitants. History

The founder of the town of Enterprise was John Henry Carmichael, who in 1881 settled itself. He was followed by many others, and in 1882 the post office of the nearby village Drake Eye was moved here. Was officially registered as a city Enterprise 1896. It then had 250 inhabitants.
