Environmental technology

The terms environmental technology or environmental technology refers to the technical and technological procedures to protect the environment and to restore already damaged ecosystems. These procedures are being developed in the field of Environmental Engineering. To some extent, the engineering science concerned with the environmental protection technology, also known as environmental technology.

Subject of environmental technology:

  • Technical measures for water, soil, noise and radiation protection,

  • As well as the technical measurement and monitoring of pollutants and environmental damage.

There are also environmental concepts and measures for environmentally friendly production, to energy saving and the prevention and reduction of emissions and waste.
