Enzo Potolicchio

Vicente " Enzo " Potolicchio ( born August 7, 1968 in Caracas ) is a Venezuelan race car driver. He will start in 2012 in the FIA ​​World Endurance Championship ( WEC).

Career

Potolicchio began his motorsport career in the American Formula racing. He started in 1998 in the Venezuelan Formula Ford 1600 and in 2005 won the overall title of the Venezuelan Formula Ford 2000. Moreover took Potolicchio 2001 and 2005 at a total of nine races in the U.S. F2000 National Championship part. He scored a podium placement.

Potolicchio moved to the GT racing and won in 2010 and 2011 the championship of the North American Ferrari Challenge. In addition, he took in 2011 to six races and the F2000 Championship Series in part. A sixth place was his best result. His main focus in 2011 was, however, on the Rolex Sports Car Series, where he started at ten out of twelve races in the DP class for Starworks Motorsports. Together with his teammate Ryan Dalziel, he managed to win at the season finale in Lexington. He reached the 13th overall in the DP rating. 2012 took Potolicchio initially participated in two endurance races in the Arab world as well as in an endurance race in North America. He was starting for Starworks Motorsports along with Dalziel, Lucas Luhr, Allan McNish and Alex Popov second in the 24 - hour race at Daytona.
