Eoin Collins

Eoin Collins ( born July 28, 1968 in Dublin ) is a former Irish tennis player who also has the American citizenship.

Career

Collins was able to prevail on a higher professional level such as the ATP Challenger Tour never, even if he could win a title in a double 1991. Also for Grand Slam tournaments he had never qualified.

He assumed, however, at two Olympic Games in part: 1988 in Seoul and 1992 Barcelona. In both appearances, he joined with Owen Casey in the doubles competition. They lost in 1988 in the opening round against the Israelis Amos Mansdorf and Gilad Bloom in four sets. In 1992 she won the first round against the Mexicans Leonardo Lavalle and Fernando Maciel. However, in the second round against the Swiss Jakob Hlasek and Marc Rosset they remained chance in three sets.

Collins denied 1987-2004 a total of 20 matches for the Irish Davis Cup team. During his solo record with 8:13 is negative, he won eight out of fourteen games in doubles.
