Epander

Epandros Nicephorus was an Indo - Greek king who ruled at the beginning of the first century BC. He is only known from a few coins that were found mainly in Punjab. So this was the dominion of its likely to be short reign. Nahrain sees him together with Polyxenos a vassal king of Menander.

His silver coins show on the front mostly his portrait and Greek legends on the back is a picture of a standing Athena with legends in Kharoshthi. Nike and a bull appears on the copper coins.
