Epcor Tower

The Epcor Tower is an office building in downtown Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. It is currently the tallest building in the city and solves the Manulife Place tallest building from.

On 7 December 2007, the utilities EPCOR Utilities announced to rent most of the office space ( approximately 24,600 m²) for 20 years. In the building Epcor wants all its employees, which are distributed in the urban area put together, in one location. The completion of the building is scheduled for late 2011. During the construction of energy -saving materials were installed, bringing the building is certified to the new Energy and Environmental Design (LEED ). With the Epcor Tower Edmonton receives the first major office building after seventeen years. The building is nicknamed " Power Tower ".
