Epicotyl

As epicotyl (from Greek: epi = above, = kotyle cavity; engl. Epicotyl ), the rung portion of a plant referred to, between the cotyledons ( = cotyledons ) and the next leaves, so is the primary leaves of the plant. Introduced the concept of Charles Darwin.
