Epiploic appendix

Appendices epiploic (singular Appendix epiploica, from Greek appendex, Annex ' and epiploon, power ') are 1-4 cm long, freely ending appendages along the tenia libera and omental tenia of the colon ( ascending colon, transverse, descending, and sigmoid ).
