Episcopal Conference of Belgium

The Belgian Bishops' Conference (Dutch: Belgian Bisschoppenconferentie; French: Conference Episcopale Belgique) is the permanent organ of the Roman Catholic bishops in Belgium. She is a member of the Council of European Bishops' Conferences. Its membership includes the bishops, auxiliary bishops and emeritus bishops of the ecclesiastical province of Belgium.

Operation

Within the Belgian Bishops' Conference there are four standing committees and three episcopal episcopal committee. You standing in front of each one bishop to members two to three bishops are elected, as other members of the clergy and experts may be included. Furthermore the Bishops' Conference with a co-ordination committee. The work of the commissions and committees are prepared in it, further to advise inter-diocesan projects. This committee is chaired by the Chairman of the Bishops' Conference.
