EPSCI

The EPSCI Business School ( Ecole Supérieur Practicien Commerce International ) was founded in 1975 by the ESSEC Business School in order to meet the demand for executives of French companies that operate internationally justice. In recent years, EPSCI has established itself as one of the leading institutions in the field of training of international management trainee in France. EPSCI shares the campus with the ESSEC Business School, Cergy -Pontoise near Paris.

Student profile

Students must master the French language fluently and also have a good level of English. While studying also one foreign language must be learned. The approval by the Baccalauréat ( High School ) is via a written and oral entrance examination in which only about 16 % of applicants are admitted to the program.

Study

The course is divided in four years, of which at least one year must be spent abroad. It is also expected that students complete internships. A total of eleven months internships are required to study completion. These requirements are designed to ensure that graduates are both specialized and versatile. International mobility and intercultural awareness are other main features of the EPSCI graduates.

Internationality

EPSCI has 48 partner institutions in more than 20 countries. Particularly noteworthy are the double - degree programs that are offered, among others, in cooperation with IBS Groningen (Netherlands), FH Dortmund, Plekhanov Academy of Economics Moscow ( Russia) and five other partner schools in England, Spain and China. Here, the stay abroad of at least one year increased to 1 1/2 years.

Completion

The Diplôme de l' EPSCI is accredited by EQUIS and AACSB and recognized by the French State to Level II ( equivalent to a 4-year university degree, with a two-year master's degree program EPSCI graduates may be admitted directly to the second year of study ). As part of the harmonization of the European higher education area, the Diplôme de l' EPSCI is classified as a bachelor and thus lower than its actual value. After the system today, it can best be compared with a German diploma.
