Epsilon Tauri b

Epsilon Tauri b is an extrasolar planet orbiting the red giant Epsilon Tauri every 594.9 days. Due to its high mass is assumed that it is a gas planet.

Discovery

As the majority of exoplanets was also discovered that using the radial velocity method. The planet was discovered by Bunei Sato in 2007.

Circulation and mass

The planet orbits its star at a distance of approximately 1.93 astronomical units and has a mass of about 2416 Earth masses, or 7.6 Jupiter masses.
