Eram Garden

The Bāgh -e Eram ( Eram Garden ) is a botanical garden in Shiraz Iran. The Eram Garden is one because of its beauty, size and his age at the famous gardens of Shiraz.

The history of the Eram garden dates back to the time of the Seljuks back ( 1038-1194 ). Jani Khan, belonging to the tribe of the Qashqai, built under the Zand dynasty a building in the garden. Then the garden was sold to Naser al Molk. The in its present form still existing pavilion was designed and built by Mohammad Hassan, an architect, the al - Molk had commissioned. Originally built for the kings and princes, he now serves as the botanical garden of the University of Shiraz, further than interest or airport and resort for visitors. However, the building is not open to visitors. The entire garden is part of the project " Reconstruction and restoration of the Eram Garden" at the University of Shiraz.
