Erectometer

A Erektometer is a meter that measures the degree of erection of the male penis and displays. ( See also Phallographie )

In the technical design is mostly an elastic ribbon which is carefully and tightly laced around the penis, and whose strain is converted into an electrical value and is usually recorded in the course of time.

In medical practice, it is in the diagnosis of erectile dysfunction in the sleep laboratory. In forensic psychiatry, it was used decades ago along with photographs as evidence of the success of treatment, but this proved to be unreliable, so it no longer installed there.
