Eri Yamaguchi

Eri Yamaguchi (Japanese山口 卫 里Eri Yamaguchi, born January 14, 1973 in Takino, Hyōgo Prefecture ) is a former Japanese marathon runner.

She won the 1998 Hokkaido Marathon and was by her victory at the Tokyo International Women's Marathon 1999 Japanese marathon champion, while at the same time set a new Asian record and the still existing course record with 2:22:12.

Because of this performance she was nominated for the 2000 Summer Olympics in Sydney, where she won the marathon with 2:27:03 seventh.
