Eric Adjetey Anang

Eric Adjetey Anang ( pronunciation / i?); (* September 24 1985 in Teshie, Ghana ) is a Ghanaian coffin artist and creator of fantasy coffins in Ghana.

Life

Eric Adjetey Anang In 2001 established a pedagogical presentation of its design coffins in cooperation with the Gidan Makama Museum Kano, Nigeria and the Alliance Française from Kano.

In 2005, after completing high school, he took over the management of the Kane Kwei workshop, which had been founded by his grandfather.

In 2009, Eric Adjetey Anang and his works the stars of promotional video clips for the Aquarius Sports Drink on the Spanish market. In the same year he participated in the project Amandla Boulevard in Antwerp and held a residence for the artist and teacher Michael Desforest in the summer of 2009 as part of collaboration with the Oregon College of Art & Craft Portland (USA).

In January 2010, Eric worked in Teshie on artistic project Please do not move! French Photographer Guy Hersant with.

With Eric Adjetey Anang 25 years was cited as a "model for urban African youth " in an article in Le Monde Diplomatique.

His work is represented in public and private collections in Europe, the United States and Canada.

Eric Adjetey Anang is a member of the Foundation for Contemporary Art (Ghana) since 2007 and the ADAGP since 2010.
