Eric Agyemang

Eric Agyemang ( born January 11, 1980 in Obuasi ) is a German - Ghanaian footballer.

Career

Agyemang came through the clubs Goldfields SC, FC St. Pauli, Eichholzer SV and forward / Wacker Billstedt to Kickers Emden. He had in the 2004/05 season with 18 goals relevant share of the championship of the Kickers in the Oberliga Nord. In the season 2005/ 06 he came to Emden in the Regionalliga Nord not used and changed into the winter break in the Regionalliga Süd for SC Pfullendorf. For Pfullendorf the striker completed in one and a half years, 37 games, scoring twelve hits. In the first half in a 5-2 home win against SV Darmstadt 98 in the 2006/07 season he scored a hat-trick for a 3-0 half-time lead. After disagreements with Pfullendorfs coach Michael Feichtenbeiner of Ghanaians released his current contract until 2008 in summer 2007.

Then Agyemang joined the 2007/08 season back in the Regionalliga Nord and joined 1.FC Magdeburg. The aim of Magdeburg was to qualify for the 3rd League. Agyemang played 18 times in the season, but scored no hits and missed Magdeburg with the desired qualification. In October 2008, Agyemang moved to FC Erzgebirge Aue in the third league. Aue was relegated from the Bundesliga 2 at the end of the 2007/08 season, had scored in the first eight games of the 3rd league only seven goals and was on the relegation zone. Agyemang should increase the effectiveness of the storm and received a one-year contract. Already in his second for Aue he scored his first professional goal. On April 10, 2010 he succeeded three hits in a 3-0 win against VfL Osnabrück.

For the 2010/11 season he joined Wacker Burghausen, where he scored 13 goals in 29 games. At the beginning of the season 2011/12 he moved to second division relegated Arminia Bielefeld. With Arminia he rose in 2013 to the 2nd Bundesliga. In 39 games for the Bielefeld he scored nine goals. However, his contract was not renewed. He then joined the Oberliga TuS Dassendorf.

Trivia

Partly to humor to express their sympathy, partly because of the difficult correct pronunciation of his name Agyemang received from Emden fans based on the resident in Ostfriesland Low German language nicknamed " Erich Ackermann ".
