Éric Bédard

Éric Bédard ( born December 17, 1976 in Sainte- Thècle, Quebec ) is a Canadian Shorttracker.

The greatest success of his career, he celebrated at the 2002 Winter Olympics in Salt Lake City when he was with the Canadian Olympic champion 5000 - meter relay. Four years later he won at the Olympic Winter Games in Turin, the same season the silver medal and was in single race over 500 meters in fourth. From 2008 to 2010 Bédard worked as a short-track national coach in Germany. Since 2010 he works as a coach in Italy.
