Eric Bledsoe

Eric Bledsoe ( born December 9, 1989 in Birmingham, Alabama ) is an American professional basketball player who is currently with the Phoenix Suns in the NBA under contract.

Career

College

He played in his college career for the University of Kentucky Wildcats, but mostly as a shooting guard, not a point guard, his preferred position. When he joined the NBA, he scored 11.3 points on average.

NBA

Bledsoe was selected in the NBA Draft 2010 as the 18th pick by the Oklahoma City Thunder and transferred shortly thereafter to the Los Angeles Clippers. At the end of his first season, he was elected to the All- Rookie Second Team. 2012 Bledsoe was for a short time on the farm team of the Clippers, the Bakersfield Jam, borrowed. On July 10, 2013 Bledsoe moved from the Los Angeles Clippers at Phoenix Suns. In his debut, he supported the team with 22 points, 6 rebounds and 7 assists in a 104-91 victory over the Portland Trail Blazers.
