Eric Church

Kenneth Eric Church ( May 3, 1977 in North Carolina) is an American country music singer and songwriter.

Church dates from Granite Falls, North Carolina. At age 13 he wrote his first songs and taught himself to play guitar at. During his school years at Appalachian State College, he joined with his brother and two friends as Mountain Boys on the west of the State. After his degree in marketing, he went to the country capital Nashville. There he took a year until he got a record deal.

First Church wrote songs for other musicians before he released his first album in 2006. Sinners Like Me became an instant success, it reached the Top 10 of the U.S. country albums and launched three Top 20 hits on the country song charts forth. Album and singles could also be placed in the general charts.

Three years passed after that until his second album Carolina. With No. 4 on the country charts and number 17 in the official sales charts he could build on the success of his debut.

The two albums Chief ( 2011) and The Outsiders (2014) reached number 1 on the Billboard 200
