Eric Fish
Eric Fish ( born May 28, 1969 in Treuenbrietzen, actually Erik Hecht -Uwe ) is a German singer and musician. 1992, he was the frontman of the band Subway to Sally ( joining the band in 1991 ).
Biography
Fish 1988 was the GDR's final round of the young singer-songwriter in Berlin. In the same year he founded the band Catriona Jan terminal (violin, violin) and Marek Kalbus (vocals, guitar), built and learned his first bagpipes ( Scottish Great Highland Bagpipe). In 1991 he became a member of the band Subway to Sally. Since 1999 he is also his solo program on stage. He is accompanied by Uwe Nordwig (guitar, vocals ), Rainer Michalek (guitar, harmonica, vocals), Gerit Hecht (piano, sound) and B. Interpretation (cello).
Since 17 May 2004, the first live CD is available that was recorded during a performance at Colos - Saal in Aschaffenburg. In October 2005, the second album twins appeared on the first Gerit pike accompanied him on the piano. On the appear in January 2010 album Going with the flow for the first time participated as interpretation on the cello.
In addition, Eric Fish making music since 2005, together with Daniel Seifert ( guitar), Eddy Krugel (drums), Gerit Hecht ( piano ), Rainer Michalek (vocals), Tobias Horn ( bass) and Uwe Nordwig (vocals ) under the name of White, is here, however, for some time inactive. In 2006, Eric Fish founded his own label, Esox Music. The first band, which stands at Esox under contract, is The Villains from Hohenstein -Ernstthal. At the Wacken Open Air 2013 he sang with Doro Pesch the song Metal Tango ', in their 30-year anniversary on stage.
