Eric L. Haney

Eric L. Haney ( b. 1952 in Georgia ) is an American former elite soldier and was a member of Delta Force the first hour and last Command Sergeant Major of the 193rd Infantry Brigade. He was in 1978 a member of the U.S. anti -terrorism unit and served there for eight years. Today he is a security consultant in South America and the Middle East, including measures to protect the Saudi royal family, in use.

Haney was involved, among others, the failure of Operation Eagle Claw and was used as part of the U.S. invasion of Grenada. During the stationing of U.S. and French troops in Beirut, he has fought according to his information snipers.

Haney wrote in 1970 in the United States Army and was one of twelve soldiers who successfully completed the training of the Delta Force in 1978. Before he was selected for training, he was group leader in a Ranger battalion.
