Eric Saindon
Eric Saindon ( born December 5, 1969 in Bangor, Maine) is an American VFX Supervisor, the 2013 The Hobbit - was nominated visual effects An Unexpected Journey for the Oscar in the category Best.
Life
Saindon studied at Washington State University architecture. After his studies he worked at Alias in Santa Barbara. In 1999 he moved to New Zealand, where he participated in the following years for Weta Digital in the Lord of the Rings trilogy.
From 2006 he worked as a VFX supervisor on such films as X -Men: The Last Stand, Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer and Avatar - Pandora. In 2013 he was for The Hobbit - An Unexpected Journey nominated visual effects for the Oscar in the category Best. He currently lives in Wellington, New Zealand.
