Eric Staller

Eric Staller ( born 1947 ) is an American artist and inventor.

Biography

Staller grew up in New York and studied architecture at the University of Michigan. In 1971 he settled in New York City and exhibited there his art first in galleries and museums, which he got orders for bigger art projects in public space in the United States and in Japan. Among his best known works include his light sculptures and installations, including the "Light Mobile " (1980), a decorated with 1,659 computer-controlled light bulbs VW Beetle, and "urban UFOs " in 1985. 1994 he moved to Amsterdam, where he among other things, " Conference Bike " invented. In 2010 he moved to Sanfrancisco.
